After weeks of procrastinating and puttering around, her ref is done. All digital, no scanner involved, which is a first for me.

Kay is a fiery mare, hard to pin down to any one discipline, or even a variety of disciplines. She wants to be queen of the herd at HSS, a position already taken by Veeda. She'll need to find the right handler before she can join in HSS's show schedule, and for now, is a perfect example of a fractious horse for the students to learn how to behave around and practice their mount-calming with.

1. Do a breeding picture. For most of my horses, this can be a headshot picture, though fullbodies are nice. For Nordanners, it needs to be a fullbody with a background, because most Nordanner owners charge points for slots and foals, and I have paid points for foals, adult horses, and for lots of slots, so I don't want to be completely taken advantage of.

1b. At Valentine's Day, I follow Utakame's example of offering breedings without the customary breeding picture, with the available horses displayed in a journal. My Nordanners will not be part of this.
2. Send me a link to the breeding pic. In a comment, in a reply, in a note, I don't care. I want to see it and collect it.
