A horse/dragon hybrid, created as a war mount or messenger, prized for its intelligence, stamina and loyalty.
Type 1- Battle type
- Mustang, Friesian or Draft builds
- Often thick manes and tails
- Can have fur or scaled hides
- Cloven or 4-toed feet
- Elongated wolf teeth, heavy lower jaw
- Dragon-type wings large enough for long flight
- Two or three colors- solid body color, secondary belly/leg/wing color, possible third marking color
- Often have two or more horns/antlers

Four-winged bloodline- very rare, can only be bred from other four-winged battlequins
Type 2- Messenger type
- Arab, Morab, or Thoroughbred  builds
- Long, silky mane and tail
- Thin fur or thin, small scales
- Cloven hooves
- Elongated, dished face
- Dragon-type wings, long and narrow for long fast flight
- Two or three colors, usually in a gradient
- Often metallic
- Often two or more horns/antlers

Markings: A large blue diamond on the face and four blue socks.
Passible Traits: Any coloration may pass. Either wings OR horns must pass, but the chances of both passing aren't as likely unless bred to another Battlequin. Hooves may be unusual and sharp-tipped, but will not be claws like hers.
Other: She's a warrior Battlequin, strong and able to endure lengthy flights, but somewhat slow due to bulky build. The curving horns enable her to rip through enemies by lowering her head, charging, hitting, and ripping upward. The claws on her toes are also deadly.

HSS Breeding rules HSS breeding rulesBasically, I follow :iconHorseart-RPG: rules. I give away breedings for free, no points, no art ahead of time, but the giftee should follow the basic guidelines set out by HARPG back at it's founding.
1. Do a breeding picture. For most of my horses, this can be a headshot picture, though fullbodies are nice. For Nordanners, it needs to be a fullbody with a background, because most Nordanner owners charge points for slots and foals, and I have paid points for foals, adult horses, and for lots of slots, so I don't want to be completely taken advantage of.
1a. Exceptions to Nordanner rules. My breedings among my own horses
1b. At Valentine's Day, I follow Utakame's example of offering breedings without the customary breeding picture, with the available horses displayed in a journal. My Nordanners will not be part of this.
2. Send me a link to the breeding pic. In a comment, in a reply, in a note, I don't care. I want to see it and collect it.
